Description
An AG-3 coin is of value only as a filler in a collection until a better example can be found or the money is found. The price reflects the condition of this coin.

Although this date does not reflect a mintage shortage, evidently the demand is out-pacing the number available as the price is equal to the more rare 1917-S and is priced higher than the companion 1918-S.

I am offering this item at the lower grade to help those who want to complete their collection. NORTH AMERICAN COIN PRICES lists a G-4 graded coin with this date at $22. NUMISMEDIA lists it at $18 in G-4. You can fill that spot in your collection for only $15.50.
