  1. What is the shortest waiting period before the policy pays?
  2. Does the disability policy pay for normal maternity, pays in addition to FMLA*?
  3. Is the waver of premium as short as 90 days?
  4. Can you take the plan with you if you leave the Federal employment and at the same rate?

OUR ANSWERS

  1. Our plan, O days for accidents, 14 days for sickness. Our competitions policy states, you may have to wait 60-90-180 or even 365 days for the policy to even kick in.
  2. Both polices pay for normal maternity, and yes, pays in addition to FMLA, family medical leave act*.
  3. Both polices we offer, have a 90 day wavier of premium after you are Disabilited. Our competition may have not even started paying you disability income.
  4. Yes, all polices are portable. Meaning, if you leave employment with the federal Government, you can keep the polices at the same rate. Costs will stay at the same Rate.
